The legendary avant garde sax player of the currently re-united Stooges, is flying in for a special appearance amidst a flurry of gigs wityh Iggy Pop, Mike Watt and the brothers Ashton.
Steve is also a part time member of the Violent Femmes for over a decade and is a former member of Residents guitarist Snakefinger.
He has collaborated with J. Mascis, Mike Watt. Commander Cody, Andre Williams.
In a recent Aurthur magazine article, Thurston Moore called Steve's work with the Radon Ensemble, "the most mind-blowing" project of Mackays lengthy underground career and likened Radon to the glory days of the LA Free Music Society.
